Sansevieria Zeylanica (Dracaena zeylanica) 6in

Description: Long, narrow, thick leaves with a mottled green and grey pattern that protrude directly from the ground. Flowers rarely, white or cream flowers grow on a long flower stalk. 

Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate both low light and some gentle sun.

Water: Water when dry. Drought tolerant.

Origins: Native to Africa and India.

Other Interesting Facts: These have been an incredibly important plant used for centuries to produce high-quality cordage for the making of rope, baskets, bowstrings, and many other products. Part of the Asparagus (Asparagaceae) family. Recently reclassified from Sansevieria to Dracaena.
