Since the age of the ancient Greeks, dogs have been a symbol of the sweltering days of mid-summer. When the "Dog Star" Sirius returns to the night sky in the constellation Canis Major, the last lazy days of summer give us a moment to enjoy nature's splendor — and the company of man's best friend.

We love seeing your dogs around the Farm, so August is our celebration of all things canine! Now through August 31, share a photo of your dog at the Nursery for a chance to win a Cornell Farm Nursery Gift Card.

1) Take a photo of your pup(s) at Cornell Farm!

2) Tag us in a public post on Instagram @CornellFarm OR email your photo to Entry@CornellFarms.com to enter. Use the hashtag #DogDaysAtCornellFarm. The final deadline to tag or submit entries is 11:59pm on August 31, 2025.

When the contest ends, our team will vote on this year's dogs (a nearly impossible task!) and choose their favorites.

First place will receive a $50 gift card, while 2nd and 3rd place each win a $25 gift card. Since we know they're ALL good dogs, 5 more lucky winners will be randomly drawn to receive a $10 Nursery gift card.
