Since the age of the ancient Greeks, dogs have been a symbol of the sweltering days of mid-summer. When the "Dog Star" Sirius returns to the night sky in the constellation Canis Major, the last lazy days of summer give us a moment to enjoy nature's splendor — and the company of man's best friend.

We love seeing your dogs around the Farm, so August is our celebration of all things canine! This year, we received well over 50 adorable pups, so we're putting the vote to our community and our team to choose the two grand prize winners. No matter who wins, we all know they're ALL good dogs and we love seeing them around the Farm!

That said... it's time to cast your vote!

This year, we're crowning two grand prize winners — a Staff Favorite (chosen by our team) and a Community Favorite (voted by you!) to win a $20 gift card, housemade dog biscuits, a copy of "Best Hikes for Dogs: Oregon", and a portable dog water bottle to fuel your next adventure!

Plus, since we know they're ALL good dogs, 5 more lucky winners will be randomly drawn to receive a $10 Nursery gift card.
