Description: Large, shiny, heavily-veined, violin-shaped leaves that grow on upright stems.

Light: Bright, indirect light.

Origins: Native to western Africa.

Other Interesting Facts:  In natural circumstances these trees begin life high in the branches of another tree, then send roots down to the ground and it slowly strangles the host tree to death.
