- Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes: We have SO many varieties in-stock in our store right now. We offer a wide selection of cherry tomatoes, heirloom, grafted, slicing, and patio / dwarf tomatoes. Here are a few of Cynthia’s favorites:
- Rosella Purple Super Dwarf Tomato
- Grafted Sungold Mighty ‘Mato
- Grafted Sun Sugar Might ‘Mato
- Cherry Tomato Super Sweet 100
- Soil: Good soil is where it all starts, so make sure you get the right kind. Cynthia suggests using our EB Stone Organics Raised Bed & Potting Mix or the Soil Booster, depending on if your plants will be in pots v. planted directly into the ground.
- Fertilizer: We have several products on-hand to make sure you get the most of your plants, while preventing disease like blossom end rot. Look for EB Stone’s Agricultural Lime, Sure Start, and Tomato & Vegetable Food, as well as Bondie’s Rot-Stop and Down-to-Earth Fertilizer Starter Mix.
- Hard Goods: We offer many different types of pots, if you plan to grow patio tomatoes. We also offer several different sizes of a-frame trellises and colorful tomato cages.
- Don’t Forget to Water! Make sure you water your tomatoes regularly, particularly on hot and sunny days. We have water sprayers, cans, and hoses all in stock, depending on your preferences/needs.
