Facility Maintenance
Cornell Farm is a retail garden center and cafe located in the West Hills of Portland. We have the greatest jobs ever: making the world a greener place by spreading our love of plants and fresh cuisine to our customers!
We are seeking somebody to join our team who has had experience with a wide variety of property maintenance tasks. The cafe inside our family’s historic farmhouse requires upkeep, as well as multiple retail buildings and greenhouses.
Tasks will include (but aren’t limited to) cleaning, building & repairing store fixtures, finish carpentry, painting, electric cart maintenance, equipment repair, and other general property maintenance.
A qualified applicant will have several years of experience doing most or all of these things, be able to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, bend, kneel, reach, work in all Pacific Northwest weather conditions and be able to prioritize and work effectively with minimal supervision.
This is a full time position which includes:
$18/hr, healthcare after 90 days, paid sick time, employee discounts, always having new challenges to tackle, and an awesome team of fellow coworkers.
