Description: Long, narrow, thick, dark green leaves with pale moss green margins and gray green horizontal bands.
Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate both low light and some gentle sun.
Water: Water when dry. Drought tolerant.
Origins: Native to Africa and India.
Interesting Facts: Sansevieria trifasciata has been an incredibly important plant used for centuries to produce high-quality cordage for the making of rope, baskets, bowstrings, and many other products. Part of the Asparagus (Asparagaceae) family. Recently reclassified to genus Dracaena.
