Aglaonema plants are valued for their striking foliage, ease of care and adaptability to almost any indoor space. Aglaonema 'Maria' has silver and dark green patterning that gives off a marbled appearance. Visually appealing, the graceful elongated foliage arch as they mature.
Common Name: Chinese Evergreen.
Light: Bright indirect. Tolerates low light.
Water: Allow to dry between watering. Best to use tepid water as opposed to cold.
Habit: Bushy; 1-3ft tall and wide at maturity
Fertilize: Monthly during growing season
Toxicity: irritation to the mouth and stomach if ingested. Juice of the plant may cause rash and skin irritation.
Note: Avoid cold drafts.
Origins: Native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and New Guinea. Thrives in warm, humid environments. Temperatures, between 60 and 70 ºF is ideal.
