What’s your favorite plant and why?
No absolute favorite...I have many that vary from day to day and season to season. I do love the Fuyu persimmon, particularly in the autumn.
What’s your best gardening tip?
My best gardening tip for beginning gardeners is to create a gardening library you trust and enjoy reading.
What’s going on in your personal garden right now?
I am creating my first shade garden and am discovering just how much sun is available, where and when. My garden is part infirmary for ailing plants, part memory lane, and an ongoing experiment in year-round gardening.
