Popup Christmas Tree Lot at Cornell Farm

About Our Trees

Each year we transform half our nursery with thousands of premium grade, freshly cut Christmas Trees. We work with family-owned, sustainable Christmas tree farms in Oregon and Washington to get the very best trees and schedule multiple deliveries throughout the season to keep them as fresh as possible.

Tree Varieties

Noble Fir

Native to the Northwest, Nobles are often considered the quintessential Christmas tree. It naturally grows into a traditional pyramid form and has strong branching, plus that signature spicy aroma.

Wild Noble

The quintessential Charlie Brown Christmas Tree and native to the Northwest, Wild Nobles are left to grow naturally, which leaves more space between the branches.

Organic Noble

We are very excited to be able to offer a limited quantity of organically grown Noble Firs. Like the Wild Nobles, they are left to grow naturally which leaves more space between the branches.

Silver Tip

Important Note: Due to shortages, our supplier was unexpectedly not able to provide us with any Silvertips in 2018. We are doing our very best to have them again for 2019, but another retraction is possible this year. If that is the case, we will work with all Silvertip pre-order customers to expedite any exchanges or refunds necessary.

Probably the most elegant Christmas Tree species, Silvertips get their name from the metallic silver of the bark and needles. Wide, even spacing between strong branches also make these perfect for larger ornaments.

Nordmann Fir

Looking very similar to a Noble fir, Nordmanns have a solid reputation for outlasting every other species of cut tree indoors. They also have the least fragrance of any tree, making them perfect for anyone with alergies.

Douglas Fir

A species native to the Northwest, Doug Firs have lighter-duty branches with very soft needles and a mild, sweet fragrance. Because they are fast growers, they are also among the least expensive cut trees.

Grand Fir

Another native and favorite in the Northwest, Grands are by far the most fragrant tree. They have a very full form with lighter-duty branches that are best suited for lights, garlands, and lighter ornaments.

Fraser Fir

Native to the Appalachian Mountains, Frasers have strong branches that turn upwards slightly, making it the most compact of the cut trees. The deep blue/green needles are silver on the bottom and give off a light, pleasant fragrance.
